Hey guys, this is my first blog. Our purpose is to live a happy and a successful life. But sometimes there are certain situations where we have to adapt ourselves to those unusual times and normalise them to the usual.
There are many ways in which we can normalise these unusual times to the usual, like this pandemic attack Covid-19 happening right now. This diseases has forced us to stay in our homes and maintain social distancing. In these appalling times, we have to adapt and co-exist with the corona virus to survive.
We can do this by engaging ourselves into work, like knowing ourselves better and improving ourselves both mentally and physically; we can also discover or try new things and make some of them our hobbies. We never get the opportunity to spend quality time with our families as there is school, work loads of things to do, which distance us from our families but this lockdown has given us the opportunity to spend quality time together. We can play games or discuss things, tell stories to each other and there are many more things we can do at home.
By doing such things, we can improve our personality, make our family bond stronger and gain more knowledge. In today’s date, technology has improved extensively which includes better communication nowadays; we can communicate with our relatives and friends through video calls and there are online classes for students to continue the education. All of these amenities help us normalise these unusual times to the usual.
If we break the rules of lockdown, this virus will continue to spread. There is a way to stop this by following the rules and the studies say that the virus can’t survive more than three hours due to extensive heat; as soon as the vaccines are prepared we can defeat the virus.
In 1918, another pandemic occurred known as the Spanish flu. It killed approximately 50 million people while 700 million people were infected. It must have been so hard for the people to live in such an unusual time like that and normalising it, especially due to the absence of technology in the form of smartphones, television and other electronic amenities to keep us busy or distracted. This was a tragedy but later they found a cure and many lives were saved.
Bye everyone, stay safe and stay home!
We’ll meet next time!
